Shiraz & Sauvignon Blanc Weekend


It’s time for the very popular Shiraz & Arts Weekend in Riebeek Valley on 2 & 3 October 2010.
This intimate and tasteful weekend has been bringing discerning wine, art & food lovers to the beautiful Riebeek Valley since 2005.

This year the arts on offer will expand to include performing arts, along with the usual quality exhibitions of paintings, sculptures and photography held at wine cellars, restaurants and galleries.


Discover the delicious creations of the Santam Swartland Wine & Olive Route cellars, including Kloovenburg, Allesverleron, Pulpit Rock, Het Vlock Casteel, Meerhof, Riebeek Cellars, Mullineux, as well as some outstanding garagiste wines.
The exceptional eateries which the Valley has become famous for will be offering spectacular Shiraz inspired menus.
Truly a feast for all the senses for those who avoid madding crowds, traffic jams and queues.

The Durbanville Wine Valley signals the start of white wine season with a jubilant week-end long celebration of extreme fun.

This year sees the return of the popular Durbanville Sauvignon Wine Ferry, taking to the air on Saturday, October 2nd for an adventure of fine wines and brilliant views in a fleet of helicopters.

Participating Farms include Altydgedacht, Bloemendal, D’Aria, De Grendel, De Vallei, Diemersdal, Durbanville Hills, Hillcrest, Klein Roosboom, Meerendal and Nitída.

Durbanville Wine Valley will once again throw open their farms to enthusiasts of the good life.
