Wowee, what a month this has been!
June / July 2010 will stand out in my memory as one of the most exciting, most demanding, most magnificent time I’ve ever experienced in my long career in Southern African tourism :-)
Its been good, its been great, its been challenging, but most of all - it has made us proud!
The Final, at Soccer City, on Sunday, 11 July 2010, will be between Spain and Holland, and all tickets have been sold out!

Here’s a little bit of interesting info on something off the beaten track that might be of interest to those with a taste for ancient history.
Fossils of a new species of early human ancestors was unveiled at the Cradle of Humankind world heritage site, northwest of Johannesburg.
Two fossilized skeletons of an adult female in her late 20s and a young male aged between 10 & 13 years were discovered in late 2008 by Wits University professor Lee Berger. The skeletons, which are about 1.3m tall, were found in one of 500 caves that were previously undiscovered in the area. Berger’s nine-year-old son, Matthew, while on a dig with him, found the first piece.
It is said to be a new form of the human species in transition between the African-Ape Man and a species more human in appearance, the Homo erectus. The scientist said the species had long arms like an ape, short powerful hands, a very advanced pelvis and long legs capable of striding and possibly running like a human. They could also have climbed.
Our ancestors have lived in this area for more than Three million years.
By coming here, you are coming to the actual birthplace of humanity.
